Exactly man
there’s a bunch of ways to do it. some people place the ball further toward their front foot and make the same swing (so the arc has apexed and the club is approaching the ball from the outside), some people open their stance so they naturally cut across the ball, some people try to hold the release, some people open the face a bit at address and make the same swing, etc. etc. experiment! develop your own style! try to shape shots and make the practice range a bit more fun.
for reals atoomey212 🙂
@atoomey212 not really :/ if you really think about it, he doesnt have much time to show you what you are doing wrong so he has to do it fast and get as much information as he can into two minutes. He just is trying to do his job and help as many people as he can. That might be why you see him as one
The real problem is that this guy stopped his pivot. Watch slicefixer’s videos if you want to learn to hit the golf ball properly.
He really shows things well, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to actively do this handshake to handshake move in the swing. It make you spread more. Use a flat left wrist in backswing, keep on plane in downswing, and let the clubface close *itself* on the way down. Tune with stronger or weaker grip.
Use setup and stance to promote draw or fade, don’t alter your swing.
7 EST is 4PM PST not 10PM PST
You saved my golf game, I was so concerned about the flat wrist that I release so late that the face was so open and the shaft leaning so much that I got a low slice, even when the weight transfer and swing path was correct thanks Michael Breed!!!!1
You are phenomenal at teaching because you also make us visualize the drill or the shot and I just want to say thank you.
This tip has totally made me understand the release.
How do i get one of these screens for free…
You can get it for free. You just have to pay a lot for shipping.
This is the biggest fundamental to golf! Great tip!
This so easy to understand and apply. Thanks. would this be true for both woods and irons? Jimmy from the Philippines
Love Golf check me out!!!
Good advice from Breed for once!
He has probably forgot more than you have ever known about the game.
Release should be a passive event not active as Breed suggests. Release occurs with a relatively loose grip, relaxed arms connected to a rotating body.
is driver the same thing?
you should use a black tee next time.. kinda hard to see it.
little much
