  1. Yes. Golf still needs Tiger. Love him or hate him, the ratings on TV are much higher when he plays, but most importantly to the PGA players whose purses are much higher thanks to Tiger. No matter how many “heir apparents” the sports writers attempt to elevate to Wood’s status, Tiger always does something to let you know who the most dominate player ever to play ANY sport is…Mr. Woods.

  7. Golf NEVER was a one man band. These guys should just embrace the game and forget the pretenses. Mickelson and Els both with 40 + wins each and 4 majors each are chopped liver?? Tiger is the best, his record speaks for itself, yet what is sad is that the same media that are accused of being Tiger fan boys have never even referred to him as a legendary player.

I’m not afraid to admit I root for Tiger every time he’s on the course and playing, Tiger is the reason I watch golf, I mean I will watch, when it’s on sometimes, but when Tiger is in the top 10 on Saturday and Sunday I’m watching to see what Tiger is doing, not hating on Lefty, or Watson, or even the European players, but I’m watching Tiger Woods, and a lot of people are.
