  1. Mark you are a great servant of all golfers everywhere. I love the ProV1x, however, I do like the B330-S, especially since they are $10 cheaper perdoz. But if price wasn’t a consideration, Titleist makes the best!

  2. ive got a question for you. when i was testing my swing plane and speed at a local golf shop they tested me hitting a slight fade or slight draw with a swing speed of 125. is this bad? i am 6′ 4″ and I this feels normal for me. would you recomend a stiff or xtra stiff shaft and prov1 or prov1x?
    Thanks 🙂

  3. i got a swing speed of 96. but my drive doesnt always go st8. so sould i use the prov1x?

  4. Im 19 years old 5’6 tall. Im very short but my speed is 105. I strike it just as hard as the pros. I cant ever use any other ball but the PRO V1 X. I can do anything with the control Of this ball. Why would anyone NOT play the V1x….maybe the price is high. Just dont lose your ball(s)….even my practice balls are all Pro V1’s.

  5. yes, it comes down to what your swing speed is and how you strike the ball. if you compress it at impact then the pro v1 and pro v1x are a good fit but the pro v1x is for a 105+ swing speed

  6. I do hit pro v1x a little higher and farther but I get more spin around the green and putt better with the pro v1

  7. Hahah your right foot looks hilarious when you finish your swing, it’s overkill man you don’t need to do that quit trying to loo like you have the perfect swing.

  8. I use a Pro V1 because its a softer hit and for the other reason is I have used the ntx tour-s. I like the way the ball feels off the face and I was curious of the Pro V1x and unfortunately I still have mixed feeling for the Pro V1x.

  9. If always liked the ProV1x cause of the better distance but I notice a slight difference between the two.

  10. i remember starting to use the pro V1 when they first came on the scene and everyone was raving about them. i had always up to then used the harder balata style balls and to be honest i didnt like the pro v1 at all. they were way to soft off the face in my opinion and i thought they felt like cheap range balls they were so soft. it was the golf pro who told me to try the V1x and that it was a much harder ball with a balata type feel to it. 100% correct and as of now i only use the V1x for comps.

  11. Hi Mark, Could you do a review of the new titleist velocity balls please? Thanks

  12. I use the prov1x cause it gives me less spin on my driver,3 wood, hybrid and long irons

  13. Mark, what results did you find in regards to the additional testing you commented on in the vids. What did you end up playing prov1 or x?

  14. Im With you but today I got some ProV1x’s and they really do stop better than a ProV1.

  15. This is not a FAKE. “Classical mechanics” tells us that there is no such thing as an absolute solid object. Keep in mind this is an “Inelastic collision” so the kinetic energy is changed to some other form of energy. If you knew the mass, velocity before and after collision you could calculate the “impulse” of the net force on the ball during collision. Keep in mind there is still a big ? during collision.

  16. Hey, I’m a big fan of your most recent film: a game of shadows. The way in which you are able to solve mysteries is beyond me. The comment you have left on this video is no exception, this video had me scratching my head for years, thinking “how could a golf ball do that???” but then you come along and blow my mind with your powers of deduction… sleep well sweet prince.

  17. this is not fake 3d max but this is NOT a real golf ball either. Just something made look like a golf ball. A real golf ball would shatter with such deformations

  18. A golfball will not shatter like this. This is what happens when you hit your ball into a tree. It doesn’t shatter.

  19. Who would have believed that thos rock hard suckers could change shape live a water balloon?

  20. I can see it being a real golf ball. Look at some of the slow motion drives, the ball still deforms quite a bit then you factor in the club shaft will bend and your wrists will have some shock too and you are only swinging at half this speed. Ball is supposedly traveling at 175mph and hitting a steel plate.

  21. It would break if it were real, if it were then why do golf balls break if they hit rock to hard

  22. This is real! Its not fake ball or something you guys said. Because of the person that hit the golf ball hit it with force, it goes like that, it doesnt break because it has force. Sometimes it cracks, but because its only its a rock

  23. its hitting a flat surface, rocks are not flat. the more jagged edges, the higher the risk of it breaking.

  24. again, take a physics class. there is no such thing as a completely solid object. golf balls are designed for such forces and deformations
