  1. Jesus man, careful on those lunges guys, keep that knee at a right angle or you are gonna end up with knee problems. Never let the knee go past the foot. *IMPORTANT*

  2. Hey look man, I hit mid to high 300’s but that isn’t the point. I am a certified personal trainer and long time National team track athlete. When doing lunges the front foot should be flat on the ground and stable, and the knee should not come past the toes. Look it up before you open your overzealous mouth.

    YouTube proper lunge technique and see for yourself. Jamie is a definite idol of mine and much respect to him, but I just want people to know to prevent injury.

  3. There’s no proper architecture to build a bridge, they can be built in different styles and with many different architectural features, but they still have to stand up. Therefore they must follow certain engineering rules to remain structurally sound.

    You can get as creative as you want with exercises for specific needs, so long as you are ergonomically sound. This is not. It puts stress on the ligaments of the knee which can lead to injury. Lunges are glute exercises, not knee exercises.
