Guys, improve your golf skills does not need to be hard (I used to think it did). I’ll give you some advice right now. Look for a training program known as Golfonax Training Program (google it). Seriously, thanks to Golfonax Training Program I’ve improve my game. I probably shouldn’t even be mentioning it cause I don’t want a bunch of other guys out there running the same “game” but whatever, I am in a good mood today so I will share the wealth haha.
lmao
Hi! Thank you for this useful video. By the way, I hear many people keep on talking about Golfonax Training Program (do a search on google), but I’m not sure if it’s good. Have you ever tried this golf training called Golfonax Training Program? I’ve heard some awesome things about it.
Great video thanks
Did not know there were different releases - thanks for the knowledge!
Thank you. I have been struggling off the tee for a while now and couldnt figure it out. This is just the tip I have been looking for. DONT FORCE IT. Such an important element to be aware of. I always spray it all over when my adrenalin gets going and I try to crush it (especially on the par 5’s), but when I make a smooth relaxed swing and just let it happen, right up the middle. Now I just hope I can stick with it. Any drills you know of that will help me with this?
Really informative video. My swing has improved a lot, but I’m always looking to get it even better. Will try these drills at the range tomorrow. Thanks again!
excellent!
Hi Very simple informative video. By the way what is this golf course looks a lot like the Nuwara Eliya Golf Course in Sri Lanka. If you do come to Sri Lanka then you must play in the 130 year golf course in Nuwara Eliya.
What an excellent & clearly explained video- one of the best – A shame that after many many dollars of lessons such information has never been explained.
Thankyou
just a question..if we do not roll our wrists..then ALL the power comes from twisting the body and shoulders..there is no release of the wrists..which increases power and distance..(correct?)..so, by bowing the wrist..all the power comes thru the shoulder swing
great vid. my golf instructor was explaining these releases to me the other day as I couldn’t quite understand why my hands weren’t rolling over post impact like tiger, rory donald etc. He then explained that he was teaching me the drive hold release as this type of release requires less timing (although you sacrifice distance). Thanks for explaining it in a different way, especially why you need to bow the wrist with this type of release.
Roll release is bad instruction, not one PGA player uses the roll release!
Your hands roll over every swing, they have too. Its not the rolling of the hands that allow you to square the club. The clubface is square through impact to the target line when you hit a slice(ball starts straight then curves to the right)the reason is because you are swinging out to in(OTT) and imparting side spin.
When JESUS CHRIST comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, HE will sit on His glorious throne. OPEN YOUR HEART TO JESUS CHRIST !
In the stable release, you never fire the right wrist at all. Doesn’t that rob power? It looks to me that all pros roll release except when they are doing those hold off shots with 3/4 follow through.
yeah sergio and hogan really sacrificed their distance horribly
this is true, the slice doesn’t really have anything to do with the open club face it’s the hitting across the ball from out to in, you can hit with the same open club face with and out to in swing and the ball will still draw
oh, one other thing, since the advent of trackman etc it’s been show that there is no such thing as side spin in golf shots……it’s axis tilt
you dont play very much golf do you…
Every player has different bio mechanics.
There are absolutely pga tour players who actively release through the shot!
Your body type is the main determining factor in the release you use.
I do believe the body release would be more consistent round to round.
Heath is correct in his ball flight and spin axis statement, go to track man maestro on you tube.
I think the better examples of the roll release would be luke donald and for the stable release dustin johnson. I do not believe many players actually supinate their wrists THAT much besides dustin johnson. I do not even see sergio doing it really. I think they just maintain a non opening/closing release. almost like an inside DTL inside swing like a putter
This is video is awesome and very well explained. Do you offer any videos featuring you as a coach. You are an awesome teacher.
On man, am I ever glad I found this video, I was looking for someone to explain it very well and I did, thanks!
