Here is my fitting for the new Cleveland RTX 2.0 Wedges. Also, I take them to get built on the new Srixon Cleveland Tour Truck! Great video and wedges, I hop…

Don’t want to get on Martin’s back, but if this lad can be a club fitter so
can I…. how do I get into this?
Peter, great video. Did you try the cavity back wedges?
How miserable was the tour truck fitter he needs a new job
Glad to see them check the grip size as well. Many fitters overlook the
grip.
Great video – I love my wedges, they have quickly become favourites in the
bag this year – we get so much stuff on drivers – yawn – but this is the
excitement end of the bag – wish we got more stuff on wedges and how to
use them – my 60/10 toe sweep lob wedge has transformed my short game :-)
Martin seems a right hoot. Id love to go for a beer with him.
18:03 gmac?
Class vid
Pete I’m new to golf to the point I have a set of graphite shaft vantage
clubs. They only cost me 50 for everything. I’m not very good I have a lot
of power and I’ve snapped 3 clubs already (I know they’re cheap that’s why
they broke) what would you recommend for me to buy. Obviously I don’t want
to spend thousands on clubs I’ve hit with the rbz driver and it was sweet
as a nut but when I use my driver I ALWAYS curve it left or right. I want
to get into it but I’m getting so frustrated now. Any advice would be
great.
The fat that fitted you didn’t seem to be the nicer guy on earth. If you
sell this stuff why can’t you be a bit more nicer to your customer.
Thanks Pete for showing us this. How did you choose your bounce on the
wedges?
awesome video
Been gaming the RTX’s for a year now, absolutely in love. Enjoy the new
wedges!
The “subscribe because it’s free” in the newer videos is pissing me off.
The tour department sent mine a few weeks ago. They are pretty fantastic.
This is best spinning wedge since the grooves changed. I go through two
sets a year and sometimes as many as 4 lob wedges. Cheers

ordered these bad boys today. cant wait.
Did you discuss the bounce options and what were best for you?
Great video Peter !!! Really interesting to see the processes that go into
making the golf clubs and the customisation for the individual. Great to
see passionate people who really knew their product.
After hearing what he said to you about carrying three wedges, I really
think I need to get me a 52. Another excellent video as always Pete.
I’ve got a 50′ 588, a 54′ 588 RTX, & plan on buying a 58′ 588 RTX 2.0 when
I get home today… all black ones.
Great video Pete. I went and tested wedges today myself. Tested 54* Vokey
SM5, Rotex 2.0, Tmag Tour Preferred, Ping Tour Gorge, and a 56* Callaway
Mack Daddy 2 because they didn’t have a 54. Ended up ordering a 54 and 58
in the Ping. They fit my gaps best and the spin was similar on all of them.
Have you tested the tour gorge? Would love to get your take.
Peter, stellar video and information. After 15 years of playing Mizuno
blades and Cleveland wedges I just went through an entire fitting from
driver to 4 hybrid (PING G30’s), 5 iron to UW (PING i25’s), wedges (Vokey
SM5 in 54 and 58*) and putter (PING Ketsch). Amazing experience and more
than worth the time/$$’s. Everyone should do that when getting a new
club/club’s. Hard to admit but since turning 50 it was past time to
re-evaluate my set-up and gaps…..:) Looking forward to seeing you test
out the new wedges at the short game area.
Great video Pete but I’m a bit dissapointed by the fitting process. I
thought they would have you chipping and pitching so they could work out
what bounce you needed or just to get a feel for how you play the short
shots, surely thats what you use your wedges for the most?
Find it a bit strange that all he did was get you to hit full shots, or did
you edit some of the process out?
Hi Peter , at around 14 mins the guy in the van mentions that the grooves
on “raw-finish” clubs wear out quicker . This set alarm- bells off , cos
I’ve used a raw (rusty) Vokey 56 for about 5 years now . Does this mean
it’s had it , or needs re-grooving ?
Cheers for any reply , Nige .
i tried it and shanked it into my brother…
saw sergio doing this and was wondering why know i know!!
much love
Cool. If it ever stops raining at Bramhall I’ll head to the practice ground
to practice it.
Mark what percentage of my club swing strength should i be using? And what
distance is 60 degree wedge good from?
Hey Mark, I also play Mizunos and switched from Titleist wedges to the R-12
this season. My 60-degree wedge is the best club in my bag. I play a lot of
flop shots but always aimed left when opening the face to let the toe lie
on the ground. After watching your video I’ll try aiming straight (which I
would prefer) and dropping the hands lower to see if that works for me.
Thanks so much for your wonderful videos. I’ve learned an incredible amount
about my swing by watching your videos.
Hey Mark, how about a lesson on different types of bunker shots?
as always great info.
that setup is very similar to what i do out of bunkers
I like your videos, and enjoy listening to what you had to say, but the
shot you was playing was more of a soft chip than a lob shot, but would
love to hear more of what you think about bounce. I personally prefer low
bounce especially in firmer conditions. Is the bounce for standards of a
player? Low bounce for good players, high bounce for average/beginner
players? I can only think of 1 shot where i would like the bounce and thats
in soft thick sand.
thanks for posting
fascinating insight! Thanks Mark
let me know how you get on.
Hey Mark, could you do a lesson on Bunker shots from around the green?
Thanks
Nice one mark put this into practice yesterday helped get my score down no
end even a few birdies!!!!
Would I be able to pull this shot off with a Cleveland CG16 60°. 8°bounce.
The grind doesn’t look the same.
what happens if your ball is sitting on a tight lie–not a lot of grass? Is
this shot still playable? What do you play if you need to loft it over a
tree/bunker/water?
Bunker shots?
Mark- if you tried that on hardpan or tight fairways don’t you risk blading
it?
yeah it is a nice video with detail explanation about the Golf Lob Flop
Shot Short Game
great help mark ! hx a lot iv always found my ball goes right when doing
the flop shot
Nice explanation of the sole grind… even the bug understood it
Watched this vid last night.
Practiced 100 of these shots over the practice bunker this morning ,using
this technique.Only put 5 into the sand. Never will I fear the soft flop
again!! Thanks.
Finally someone explained how to solve balls going off the the right! Golf
pros encourage me to just aim left to compensate for open face, but that
really messed with my consistency.
thanks so much i hav a game today
