Thanks for the reminder to keep the swing more shallow, I forget that
sometimes and you reaffirmed it for me…
Great advice. I’ve been trying that out for a few days now but I can’t seem
to get past “deceleration”. For some reason I see an 8 o’clock shot and I
do half effort on the down swing. Any advice on how to train myself to keep
on the gas? Is it all mental?
Great video instruction! ..however, its difficult for weekend players to
master the 9’oclock swing because of the precision and sequence of the
swing itself. I have problems where i either top or chunk the ball ..so i
acquired the Phil Mickelson’s shallow backswing and accelerate through for
more control and stopping power…otherwise i wish i could get this
technique down.
A good thought would be to try to make sure that even with a shorter swing
that you’re finishing with all your weight on your left heel (for a
right-handed golfer). That will force you to turn aggressively through the
shot and make a full finish. See if that helps!
I don’t have distance problems.
I have hitting it 45 degrees too far to the right (right handed)
problems….
I’ve damn near snapped a club in half on multiple occasions.
It’s gotten to the point to where I’ll use a mid iron for a bump and run…
helpful – thanks
I bought a 56 with 10 bounce and m grind …..now want to replace my 52 do
I get one with the same bounce and grind
