Tony asks Maria of http://www.mygolfinstructor.com this question and Maria explains that typically most goflers are going to select a 56 degree sand wedge and a 60 degree lob wedge.
Maria explains that you might also have room in your bag for a gap wedge, to fill the gap you might have between your pitching wedge and the sand wedge, which is usually the biggest gap between clubs that players have in their bag.
So, typically you want to have a 56 degree sand wedge with 11 or 12 degrees of bounce and a 60 degree lob wedge, but if you have room in your bag for a gap wedge to fit between your pitching wedge and your sand wedge, such as a 52 degree gap – consider it.
